Do you see yourself as a presenter, director, camera operator, editor, animator, teacher, photographer or journalist, or working in any industry that requires strong communication skills, confidence, creative thinking and entrepreneurship? If so, this could be the course for you. During your studies you will work in our specialist radio, animation, editing and TV studios participating in regular skills and technique classes, master-classes, enrichment, competitions and work experience.

You will learn how to plan, pitch and deliver Media products for clients. Alongside developing Media production skills for Journalism, TV Production and Radio, you will participate in maths and English classes to ensure that you are developing core skills which will help you gain professional employment in the media industry. 

You will be assessed through practical assignments and live projects, for example productions, films, documentaries, and TV studio shoots.

The media team have excellent industry links and through these we offer all students plenty of opportunities to work with media specialists. We work with local businesses and media companies creating adverts and music videos, filming live web streams and promotional videos, as well as working with radio stations to produce content for live shows.
