TENFOLD Dance Theatre represented Oldham College at U.Dance North West Festival on Sunday 10th March, hosted by The Lowry theatre.
This group comprises our elite Performing Arts, Dance learners across all levels.
They took part in a day of exciting workshops and activities at Salford Quays before performing their contemporary dance piece ‘I am okay…’ in the evening. This explored themes of growing up, and depression and anxiety in young people.
“The learners did us proud,” said Georgina Abbott, Programme Tutor for Performing Arts & Dance.
“They engaged with the choreography and character of the work, and showed outstanding professionalism, commitment and enthusiasm.”
TenFOLD will now receive feedback from the judging panel and will be considered to represent the North West region in the national festival which is being held in Liverpool in July.
