Oldham College recently welcomed Depaul UK to campus to present a cheque from learner and staff fundraising.
Last month, learners took part in ‘Sleepover for a Cause’, which saw them brave single-digit temperatures in sleeping bags and tents in our Main Quad to raise funds for the youth homelessness charity. Read more about the event here: Learners and staff camp out for a cause
We raised a fantastic total of £2,512.01 from learner and staff donations.
Christobel Burns, Community Engagement Fundraiser at Depaul UK, joined us before Easter to accept the donation. She said:
“Depaul UK would like to thank all the incredible students and staff at Oldham College who took part in the Sleep Out. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help us to provide vital support to those experiencing homelessness. Thank you for your support and generosity!”
