The level 3 course is designed to enhance your hairdressing skills to an advanced level, refresh and update your techniques and give you the most up to date knowledge, to carry out a range of commercial looks relevant to current industry standards.
Level 3 Diplomas and certificates are advanced vocational qualifications which focus on the development of the underlying principles and practical skills required in the Hairdressing industry. They are designed to deliver a high level of occupational capability and allow you to progress to NVQs. They have been approved by HABIA, the standard setting body for hairdressing, and designed by City & Guilds.
To achieve full certification, you must complete eight units, comprising all five mandatory units and three additional units.

Unit 302 Monitor and maintain health and safety practices in the salon
Unit 303 Consultation support for colleagues on hair services
Unit 304 Cut women's hair to create a variety of looks
Unit 305 Style and dress women's hair using a variety of techniques
Unit 306 Colour hair to create a variety of looks
Unit 311 Bridal Hair
Unit 312 Cutting Men's Hair
Unit 316 Creative Hairdressing Design
Unit 205 Promote Products and Services
Unit 213 Display Stock

Practical assessments plus an on-line written exam per unit (10 Units)
To study this course learners must have a previous level 2 qualification in ladies hairdressing and a minimum requirement of literacy at level 2.
