Dr Shaid Mushtaq is a well-respected local businessman and a very active member of the Oldham community. He is a governor at a local academy, a committee member of Oldham Race Equality Partnership (OREP) and was elected as local councillor for Alexandra Ward in May 2014.
Dr Mushtaq is also a member of the newly formed Ethics Committee for Greater Manchester Police helping to shape the Police approach and build the trust of greater Manchester residents.
