Start Dates: This course lasts one academic year and starts in September.

Attendance: 1 evening per week, Thursday 6pm-9pm for 30 weeks

 

What will I study?

Certificate in Cutting Womens Hair L2

What knowledge and skills will I gain?

To achieve full certification, you must complete 5 units including: working in the hair industry, following health & safety in the salon, shampooing and conditioning hair, cutting women's hair and the art of dressing hair.

Minimum requirement of literacy at level 1.

You may be eligible to do this course for free, if you do not already hold a level 2 or 3 qualification, or if you receive certain state benefits.

If you are required to pay your tuition fees the cost of the course is currently £941.  This fee can be split into 6 payments of £156.83, with the 1st payment due at enrolment to secure your place on the course and the remaining 5 payments set
up as direct debit starting October.
Students will need a hairdressing kit and uniform which will be discussed at enrolment.
