If you don't have the right qualifications you need for university and are looking to start a career in one of the many roles within the health sector, this qualification will develop the foundational knowledge and skills you will need.
This qualification combines subject topics primarily in health, sociological perspectives in healthcare, and biology to provide a programme designed to give scope when choosing a degree to suit your career choice. The curriculum will give you a core understanding of essential topics which will help you to build a good foundation of topical knowledge for your degree.
You will be assessed on each unit through a variety of methods which will develop the important skills and abilities that you will use on your degree course. This includes academic essay writing, research skills, analysis of data, presentation skills.
To enrol on the course you must have already achieved 4 GCSEs, including English and maths at a minimum of grade 4/C. unfortunately, we do not accept functional skills as an equivalent.
