Course: ESOL Level Entry

Assessments are done before enrolment through the Summer and then in September and January.

Classes are part-time and are 4-6 hours a week
PrintYou will study English/ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) at Pre-entry, Entry level 1- 3 or Level 1 or 2, dependant on the outcome of your language assessment, which you will need to do before you can enrol.
The course focuses on English at your level using a wide range of topics e.g neighbourhood and community, hobbies and free-time, work and jobs, life in the UK, social media, family and friends, shopping, travel and transport and health.
You will develop your English skills in speaking and listening, reading and writing alongside grammar and vocabulary.
Some classes will focus on your personal development and welfare and cover topics including: citizenship, staying safe on-line, hate crime and health and wellbeing.
There will be opportunities for various educational visits during the year.
You will study English/ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) at the level best suited to you. This will be assessed before you enrol.
Your teacher will set tests to check your progress and you will be given regular homework to complete.
Learners will take ESOL exams in speaking and listening, reading and writing
