Offer to adults entering and looking for sustained employment in the Adult Care Sector and supporting the qualification of already employed adult care workers to raise standards
Over the duration of this course you will develop of the values, knowledge and skills required to work in a range of health and social care support settings and in adult care environments. You will learn a wide range of topics including legislation and regulation, safeguarding and protection, dementia awareness, mental health and well-being, supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health care procedures.
This course will be assessed through a range of methods such as written questions, observation and professional discussion. It is internally assessed and external quality assured.
No specific entry requirements but must be employed for minimum 16 hours per week or have an employer willing to support you in this course and permit assessment by the team.
