Sammy has studied both a full-time course and apprenticeship in her time at College.
“I completed a full-time Level 2 Hair course at Oldham College before progressing onto this apprenticeship,” says Sammy.
“On the apprenticeship I have enjoyed working in a salon environment, gaining real-world experience of what working as a hairdresser will be like.”
With Sammy’s range of experience, there are lots of potential pathways for her future career:
“After this apprenticeship I will move onto the Level 3, and may go on to a Barbering qualification or into a job after that – there are lots of options for my next steps.
“I would definitely recommend an apprenticeship!”
