We offer a T Level in Assisting the Healthcare Science Team. There are many valuable careers available to you within the health sector, and none more valuable than those within the science teams that support the on-going treatment of service users.
If you want to join the valuable work that is done within healthcare science, then this this is your opportunity to enrol on this new generation of qualifications that offer an attractive technical alternative to studying three different A Levels.
This course has been designed with employers to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to work within this field. It blends the development of technical knowledge with industry work placement to provide you with the skills and experience you need to start your healthcare science career. You will undertake your placement with our NHS partner, Northern Care Alliance, which means that all your placements will be within a clinical setting.
This is a great opportunity for you to work alongside professionals, become part of the team and develops your skills as you put theory into practice.
To enrol on this course you must have a minimum of five GCSEs which must include English, maths and science at a minimum of grade 5 and two other subjects at a minimum of grade 4.
Core modules: there will be two externally set exams at the end of the first year and an employer set project; this is a controlled assessment completed within College and is fully linked to your industry work placement experience.
