What will I study?

Do you want to be part of the next generation of Health Professionals through a new and exiting qualification? If you answered yes to the previous question, then this is your opportunity to enrol on this new generation of Gold Standard qualifications as a technical alternative to A Levels.

We offer a T Level in Supporting the Midwifery Team; an exciting two-year course designed in collaboration with employers to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to work within the health sector. The T Level has a mixture of technical knowledge and industry work placement to provide you with the experience you need to start your career. You will undertake your placement with our NHS partner, Northern Care Alliance, which means that all your placements will be within a clinical setting.

This is a great opportunity to work alongside professionals, become part of the team and develop your skills to put theory into practice.

To enrol on this course you must have a minimum of five GCSEs which must include English, maths and science at a minimum of grade 5 and two other subjects at a minimum of grade 4.

.

How will I be assessed?

Core modules: there will be two externally set exams at the end of the first year and an employer set project; this will be a controlled assessment completed within College, and is completely linked to your industry placement experience.

Specialist modules: there will be three externally set assessments carried out in year two.

What will this lead to?

After successfully completing this course you will be able to progress onto an undergraduate degree in midwifery. Alternatively, you may choose to progress to a higher level Apprenticeship or find employment within the NHS or social care settings.
