As part of the Further Education Innovation Project, Oldham College has established an Innovation Hub: home to our Business Innovation team of Advisors and Coordinators. Read on to learn more about the Further Education Innovation Project and how you can get involved.
Innovation is the process of turning ideas into products, services or solutions that solve real-world problems: improving on what’s already available, and making something better.
The Business Innovation team will increase the role of further education (FE) colleges in the expansion of innovation support, to boost productivity across Greater Manchester.

In order to foster a local culture of innovation, the team has launched the Innovation Hub.
The Innovation Hub is a space on the Oldham College campus where businesses can connect with each other, and access the support and information needed to explore innovation opportunities.
In the Hub, the team will be hosting information sessions, training and creative thinking opportunities for business leaders.
